Mr. Aqil Jaffer Ali is Chairman of the Board of H Capital Limited, bringing more than three decades of leadership experience across international banking, wealth management company structures, and investment advisory. He spent over twenty-five years at Citi, holding senior roles including Vice Chairman for the UAE, Managing Director of Consumer and Commercial Banking, and Director of Retail Banking and Wealth Management.
Following Citi, he served as Head of Branch Network and Wealth Management at the National Bank of Abu Dhabi and later held senior leadership and advisory roles at Investcorp and Credit Suisse, with focus across private equity, real estate, and private banking. His experience strengthens governance, oversight, and long-term direction at H Capital Limited.
Executive Vice Chairman
Mr. Sajjad Habib serves as Executive Vice Chairman of H Capital Limited, with more than three decades of experience across banking, insurance, and asset management in the United Kingdom and the Middle East. He founded Habib Investment FZE in 2002 and has served as Managing Director since inception, working with global institutions including Man Investments, Société Générale, Coutts Bank, and Franklin Templeton.
Previously, he was Executive Director of Habibsons Bank Limited in the United Kingdom and held senior leadership roles over an eleven-year tenure. A member of the Dawood Habib family, he has served on boards including Habib Insurance Company Limited and Habib Asset Management Limited. His background supports H Capital’s corporate finance advisory and governed decision-making work.
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Nasir Jamal is Chief Executive Officer of H Capital Limited, with more than twenty years of leadership experience in private banking, wealth management, and investment advisory across global markets. Prior to H Capital, he held senior roles at Citi, UBS, Edmond de Rothschild, and Julius Baer, advising families and entrepreneurs across Europe, the Middle East, and North America.
He is known for building disciplined advisory teams and guiding complex portfolio and balance-sheet decisions across jurisdictions. As CEO, he leads the firm’s strategy, governance standards, and advisory positioning, ensuring H Capital Limited operates as a trusted investment advisory firm with independence, continuity, and accountability at its core.
